Arabic Wedding Traditions

There are many traditions and customs typical of Arab marriage and these must be followed and respected whether Arabs marry in their home countries or anywhere else in the world.

So Imane & Omar did it coming in Italy celebrating their Wedding in Tuscany at Tettuccio Terme di Montecatini  with their closest friends and family.

During the ceremony the Sheik presents the arabic contract that the bride and groom must sign (Katb al – Kitab)

Then, following traditional Islamic customs, bride and groom share a piece of sweet fruit, a date and milk, and usually this kind of weddings are really folkloric, lively and full of dances.

Another typical custom of arabic wedding is the Mahr (wedding gift) that the groom officially offers to the bride.

Let their story and photographs inspire you.

A Charming Elegant Wedding

The style of the wedding was elegant and full of charm dominated by white color with some gold accents and masterfully directed by Fatiha El Hidoudi  WIT Wedding-in-tuscany and decorated with beautiful and spectacular floral arrangements made by  Ilenia Florist Wedding

Imane & Omar’s storytelling of the day, captured by Studio Bonon Photography, began with their getting ready in location, with amazing moments and wonderful portraits of them and continued with a romantic ceremony in the Tettuccio Thermal Complex with a unique atmosphere and timeless style, where guests’ attention was paid at the top of the staircase covered with candles and framed by flowers.

After the wedding ceremony, the reception took place with an elegant setting at the main space of Tettuccio, with tables settled with tall white centerpieces, floating candles and gold tableware accents!
The magical decoration of the wonderful bride and groom table resumed the magnificent style of the ceremony.
